About Me

With 15 years in public education, Brenda Fouse serves as the principal of a PK–5 campus, leading with the mindset and practices of a community principal. Her work centers on creating supportive, culturally grounded environments for more than 400 students, ensuring equitable academic opportunities and advancing cultural awareness across the school community. She is especially committed to supporting neurodiverse learners, including students with ADHD, by fostering systems that promote clarity, connection, and belonging.

Drawing on expertise in mediation and conflict resolution, Brenda guides her team in strengthening community engagement and improving outcomes for underrepresented groups. Her doctoral research at Abilene Christian University examines strategies to address deficit mindsets in school leadership, reinforcing her dedication to inclusive, strengths‑based practices. By integrating conflict management with research‑based leadership development, she works to create meaningful and sustainable improvements that honor the brilliance of every child.
